FlatIron Grille + Bistro Eleven Sixty

FlatIron Grille, a popular restaurant in Jackson, TN, required branding for a new location (with a new name), a new website, menus, and other print collateral.

The plan: I developed branding for their new location, Bistro Eleven Sixty, built a new website, and designed print collateral including gift cards and local ads, ensuring consistent and appealing brand representation. When the project was complete, the owner was so impressed with the new branding that he asked me to replicate it for his first location (Flatiron Grille) to match!

The Concept

Bistro Eleven Sixty’s branding was thoughtfully designed to reflect the authentic Italian experience brought to every dish and every dining moment. The color palette draws inspiration from the deep red hues of traditional brick ovens and the rich tones of a fine Cabernet, grounding the brand in the warmth and passion of Italian culture. This rich red is offset by deep gray and natural shades, adding a layer of elegance and sophistication that echoes the timeless beauty of Italy's landscapes and architecture.

The fonts are clean and modern, chosen to complement the classic yet contemporary feel of the brand. The simplicity of the typography speaks to the authenticity of our cuisine—true to its roots, yet presented in a fresh and inviting way. This combination of colors and fonts creates a cohesive visual identity that honors the tradition of Italian fare while embracing a modern dining experience at Bistro Eleven Sixty.
